New to Coatesville?

We know that choosing a church home can be a difficult decision. You may be looking to find a place to develop meaningful friendships and relationships; or for a minister who preaches relevant Biblical messages for life’s issues; or maybe you are looking for a church that has ministries and services for everyone in your family.

Whatever your reasons, we at Coatesville Uniting Church believe we can minister to you and your entire family no matter where you find yourself on life’s journey. If you are looking for a church home, we invite you to join us for one of our dynamic worship services. We look forward to meeting you.

When you visit on Sunday morning…

You will be greeted by our friendly welcome team who will help make sure you feel welcome from the moment you step through our door.

If you have a baby…

We welcome infants in the chapel. For those times when they need space to move or just have a grizzle, Worship is visible and audible from the Foyer.

As you enter the chapel…

The welcome team will be more than happy to assist you should you have any questions or special needs. As a first-time visitor to Coatesville Uniting Church, you are our guest.

We don’t expect you to contribute in the offering. Feel free to sit back and relax as the offering plate is passed.

During the service…

We welcome first time guests and want them to feel comfortable in our service. If you have made yourself known to those at the door we’ll welcome you, but won’t put you on the spot or call you to the front.

Please feel free to participate as fully or as little as you like in the service as it proceeds.

Our worship services…

seek to blend contemporary worship with traditional sacred music. Our worship team and band blend to produce a unique sound designed to minister to all generations. Our worship team strive to engage and the balanced biblically-relevant messages are designed to help you grow spiritually and reach your full God-given potential.

Our “middle-of-the road” style of worship draws on the traditions of our past as well as providing opportunities for children and people of all ages to be involved. It includes a blend of music from the past and present; the liturgy involves the use of activity and symbols, with an emphasis on informal sharing, a message you can act on and prayer for the world around us.

After the service…

You are invited to join us next door for refreshments and a chat. We look forward to answering any questions you may have.

Please take the opportunity to fill out the Visitor form provided at the front door and drop it in the offering to help us keep record of your visit with us.
